Phil Jones Head Up Creative at Agence Braque

We are proud to announce the nomination of Phil Jones as Creative Director.

After two years as Artistic Director on the creative team, we are entrusting him with the responsibility of the agency’s creative production and the profile of its clients’ brands.

With a Bachelor of Arts (UQAM), Jones has held various creative positions at Cossette, Bleu Blanc Rouge and Cri, and freelanced for several Montréal agencies, including Bob l’agence, DDB Canada and Les Évadés before joining the ranks of our agency in Old Montreal in 2017. “Phil quickly picked up on the agency’s creative personality and stood out as a leader to see to its development. Reflecting Braque, Phil is a multi-channel communicator who knows how to deal with the realities of marketing today. His entrepreneurial personality also attracted our attention,” said Jean-Marc Demers, Braque President and CEO. “We are eager to leverage his creativity in all facets of our agency’s life, not just in creative,” he added.

The new Creative Director has always been driven by the quest for the big idea, guided by mentors who inspired him to aspire to his new position at Braque. “Through the years, I have had the opportunity to learn from several well-known creative directors who knew how to make me want to excel on a daily basis. I am extremely grateful to each one of them.” Jones tackles this new challenge full of inspiration, “I feel very privileged by this nomination, and I intend to make the most of it to make Braque a creative agency that will attract new clients, but also talented up-and-comers. Braque is entering a new era of growth and the entire team is motivated by what’s ahead,” he enthused.
