Érablière Les Sucreries d'Or
Iora Branding and Packaging
Braque was mandated by Érablière les Sucreries d’Or to create the visual identity and packaging for its newly minted brand Iora. Iora offers premium quality organic maple syrup originating from a sugar bush at the foot of Mont Orford in the Eastern Townships, which is owned by an environmentally conscious owner-producer.
Intended primarily for the European market, the brand had to have a striking, unique image to stand out on store shelves. Braque also wished to evoke the excellence of the terroir and artisanal production, two characteristics in which the brand takes great pride.
Using the shape of a drop of maple syrup as inspiration, Braque designed a logo and graphic style in the product’s image: simple, elegant and refined. For the packaging, the agency created a label whose sleek design reinforces the high-end positioning of Iora. Several versions of the label were created for various bottle sizes and the three grades of maple syrup – delicate, velvety and full-bodied – offered by the brand.
Various tools were also developed to support the marketing of this new brand at international trade missions and fairs.
